Friday’s Line
Friday, August 10th, 2007 by patrickdonohueSo just some observations from last night’s Colts/Cowboys game on the 20 minutes I watched before turning on Seinfeld. The Colts defense is really awful. I know it’s hard to take the results of a preseason game all that seriously but what I saw of the starting defense from the Colts makes me think they will, once again, not be able to stop the run. The Cowboys started rookie Doug Free and Pat McQuistan at the tackles, neither of which will be starting in week 1 and they still controlled the line of scrimmage. If I were Colts fans, I would be very worried that my team will have to outshoot every team they play because the defense can’t get a stop.
